I guess we could list everything made for horses as training equipment, but since we have several pages of categories, (listed at the bottom of each Reinsman Page), most normal stuff will be on other pages by their respective categories. The Reinsman training equipment page will include nosebands, tie down straps, sidepulls, training forks, and martingales. 

Gag Bridles  - The gag headstall is not meant to be a weird thing. It uses it's sliding cheek design to apply more poll pressure, and a different pressure inside and to the outside of the mouth. The first leather sliding gag headstalls used rolled leather, but the simpler smooth ropes used by Reinsman work even better. It adjusts to fit your horse and will stay in place when pulling on one rein. It is easy to install your bit by removing and reinstalling the rein ring of the rope cheek piece. (Pic shown below)

Sidepulls -  Side pulls are effective for horse training. I first ran into their use in the cutting horse industry. Seems from those roots, they have spread everywhere. We might argue that they are a form of hackamore. Pressure is applied to the outsides of the mouth and to the nose to direct movement of your horse. Sometimes used to start a horse; sometimes used to finish a horse; sometimes used to fine tune the training. A sidepull can be used forever, or during brief periods as you determine the need. I have found it helpful to use a hair dryer to "heat" the nose rope to better shape it as I need for my particular equine. Just like any nylon rope, leaving it in the sun will also help it flex. In the second row, you will find other variations, not quite sidepulls, that are effective for specialized training, and for converting from noseband control into a bit. 

Specialty Training Products

Martingales - Probably from my English background, but I like a running martingale. Running your reins through the rings gives a whole different perspective on training. The running martingale can be used for more control, for head setting, for setting a horse just before the turn on a barrel, or the approach of a jump. The 7303 split training rein is a good one for using with a martingale. 7303 comes with stops that are useful in delimiting the rein movements. Because they are handrubbed and edged, they slide nicely, with easy drag.
