Boots have been work boots since America became West!
About the time trucks began moving freight, there came
the "truckers boot". Cowboy is an attitude,
as much as it is riding horseback. And anybody that
works as hard and as long as a cowboy, or a trucker,
needs stable footwear. This workboot has a proven slip
resistant oil resistant sole, and a little softer feel
than that which has been "trucker" for 50
years. (The easier bend at your ankle makes your leg
less tires after a bunch of hundreds of dotted
lines!)
The Medium
Round toe of these boots is similar to other R toes. It is
not as narrow as a J toe.
A quick
note: These boots will show scuffs; however, an art
gum eraser will remove almost all scuffs! We use our
Hat cleaners, or suede cleaners to keep them in good
shape.

One of
the nicest things about having a custom leather shop
is being able to take a good product and improve it.
It is like sharing the love, to you, with the
original factory.
This
is a great Western boot for the money. And, we can give it
to you two ways...First price is like it comes from
the factory, and that is a good value.
Second
choice, we hand rub and hand burnish it with a
couple-few good coatings of our special leather
conditioners, until the leather has a rich luster
characteristic, and it is much better protected from
weather and deterioration. Then, we expertly flex
the shaft and the sole so it wears like a kidskin
glove when you first put it on. (Especially in the
ball and ankle area.) An ever so slight sanding is
prepped by hand on any inside seam that may feel
tough on the ankle bone or calf. Finally, we massage it down with a
double finish coat of Snow Seal that finalizes a
weatherproof look you
only get with all this care. The
whole process only takes an extra day. Same
boot...two totally different looks and
feelings. You choose! Ain't
America great?
